Conrad Hilton Review: A Luxurious Lagoon Escape You’ll Never Want to Leave
From the moment we checked in at the Conrad Hilton, I knew this was going to be an unforgettable stay. The service was impeccable—every interaction from check-in to check-out was warm, professional, and effortless. The staff made us feel valued and taken care of, which set the tone for a relaxing, stress-free experience.
Worth Every Penny—Or Use Your Hilton Points!
Let’s be clear—this isn’t a budget hotel. Standard room rates range from $750 to $1,000 per night, so it’s definitely a splurge. Fortunately, I was able to take advantage of my AMEX Hilton Business Card, which awards two free nights annually at certain spending levels. It’s an incredible perk, and I was surprised that I could exchange those nights for a stay at the Conrad Hilton. What’s even more surprising? Their “standard rooms” are anything but basic.
Crystal-Clear Lagoon and Endless Water Activities
Opened in 2024, the Conrad Hilton is home to a 17-million-gallon man-made lagoon that looks like something straight out of a postcard. The crystal-clear waters shimmer under the sun, and the space offers everything from paddleboarding and kayaking to canoe rentals. It’s absolutely breathtaking, and I couldn’t get enough of the serene views and calming atmosphere.
The Conrad Hilton property is located on one end of the lagoon, but if you’re traveling with a larger group or planning a family getaway, there are also condos and apartments available for rent through the Hilton Honors app. They’re pricier but offer more space and privacy, which is something we may consider next time when we have our whole clan together.
A Resort You Don’t Want to Leave
I’ve stayed at plenty of high-end resorts, but this was one of the first times I stayed for more than two days without ever leaving the property—and I didn’t miss a thing. Everything we needed was right there. The variety of dining options, entertainment, and activities kept us fully immersed and entertained.
Gorgeous Rooms and Unexpected Upgrades
The rooms were nothing short of spectacular—clean, luxurious, and beautifully designed with plenty of space to relax and unwind. We were fortunate enough to get an upgrade to a lagoon view, which initially made me worry it might be noisy. But to my surprise, the lagoon closes at 6 PM, so by the time evening rolled around, everything was calm and quiet.
Bars, Fire Pits, and Sandy Beaches—Pure Bliss
Scattered around the lagoon are a few great spots where you can grab drinks and enjoy the scenery. The Papaya Club stood out as a favorite with its casual vibe and delicious bar food. There are also multiple fire pits where you can gather and unwind as the sun sets, and sandy beach areas where the kids can play and splash to their hearts’ content.
Perfect for Relaxation—Not for Disney-Goers
One thing to note—while the Conrad Hilton is close to Disney, it’s not located on Disney property. But honestly, that wasn’t a dealbreaker for us. This is not the hotel where you stay if you’re planning to spend your days at Disney. This is a destination in and of itself—the kind of place where you check in, unplug, and forget about the outside world. It felt like a tropical paradise where we could completely unwind without ever feeling the need to leave.
Final Thoughts: A Paradise We’ll Return To
The Conrad Hilton delivered a flawless experience that combined luxury, relaxation, and endless activities. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or just a chance to soak up some sunshine in style, this place is an absolute winner. We’re already thinking about our next stay, and next time, we may just bring the whole family along to enjoy it with us.
If you’re ready for a tropical escape where you never need to leave the property, the Conrad Hilton is the place to be. We’d go back in a heartbeat.
