
Brioche French Toast with Strawberry Compote

Ingredients
- 4 slices of Brioche
- 1 egg
- 1/8 cup of Half and Half
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon frozen orange juice concentrate or 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Fresh Grated Nutmeg
- Butter
- Cinnamon Sugar mix
Instructions
- Start with the best Brioche bread you can find. We use the Trader Joe’s Brand.

- Whisk together egg, cream, vanilla, orange juice, cinnamon, & nutmeg.

- Melt butter in a Non Stick skillet
- Dip bread in egg mix and cook in skillet for 3 – 4 minutes per side. Watch carefully that it doesn’t burn. Flip when lightly browned.

- Before you flip the French Toast, liberally coat the bread with the Cinnamon Sugar Mix
- Flip and then sprinkle the second side with the Cinnamon Sugar mix as well. Flip one more time to so you get a bit of a crunchy coating on both sides from the sugar coating

Serve with Powder Sugar, Maple Syrup, Butter, Strawberry Compote
